Step 1: Choose a charity
You can choose from all KU Leuven's charities. You can find them here. Would you like to raise money for one specific researcher or professor at KU Leuven or UZ Leuven? We can help you with that too.

Step 2: Create a fundraising project page
Once you have chosen a charity, you can start with your own project page. Choose a title, a photo, a text, the amount you wish to achieve and the date on which the project may be closed.
Do you have a clear idea of which cause you want to support? Can you already see the project page in front of you? We will gladly publish the project online! Mail us all the information and we will make sure you can start collecting funds soon.

Step 4: Announce your action
Is your project online? Then you can start announcing your project to family and friends! Talk about your action, personal contact works best. Share the link on your social media and via e-mail with your network.

- Title: Find a nice title that says something about your goal and action.
- Photo: Choose a powerful image that shows what your action stands for.
- Tip: Choose a photo with people in it. People giving to people makes a personal difference.
- Tip: Choose a photo in landscape format, copyright-free or ask permission from the photographer.
- Text: Explain why your project is close to your heart. Make it personal, this will attract people to contribute to your crowdfunding.
- Target amount: What amount do you want to achieve?
- Closing date: When can the campaign end? From this date people can no longer support the campaign online. Transfers will still be possible.
- Tip: Are you doing the promotion on the occasion of a party, birthday or sporting achievement that takes place on a specific day? Set the closing date a week later: this gives people enough time to find out about the campaign and still donate!
